Project X (TBD)
Project X is an esports game that is skill-based, fast-paced, and played in short sessions. Built for mobile, this is a strategic auto-battler where teams auto-fight on dynamic battle arenas. Build your unique Champion roster by virtually exploring city blocks of the real world to obtain the ultimate team.
As the Community & Social Media Manager, you will be the voice between our company and our game community. You will lead the growth of our community, helping them to understand and connect with our game and ultimately want to advocate for us. You are a compelling storyteller - able to translate dev talk into community speak, have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, and strategically plus creatively understand how to engage communities. This is a remote work role with GMT+8 working hours.
What You'll Do
Engage with players and potential players where they are - advocating for them and helping us drive player-first changes to share with the game teams
Plan, manage and execute our social media calendar to consistently grow awareness and engagement of our community across key channels, including but not limited to Telegram, Twitter, Discord, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Own the success of our game’s social media presence by setting ambitious performance targets, continuously tracking metrics, and adjusting the strategy accordingly
Lead strategy and initiatives to ensure consistent community engagement on our socials, with contests and challenges that grows awareness for our game and drives new players.
Collaborate with marketing team members to oversee and promote messaging and communication plans to help us engage and inspire our players and community.
At least 2 years of experience in social media marketing / community management role for a blockchain company
Passion for gaming and/or blockchain gaming is a huge bonus.
Familiar with the Discord ecosystem and have a solid understanding of how it works, how to communicate with members, etc.
Possess a deep understanding of social media marketing tactics, strategy and metrics, a driven and roll-up-your-sleeves mentality to independently create community and social media programs that will drive meaningful participation.
Adaptable with a penchant for picking up new tools, and experienced with social media management and analytics tools, as well as simple graphic design tools like Adobe, Figma, Canva, contest tools like Gleam, and survey tools like Typeform. (Ability to create short clip / gif is a plus!)
Native-level English speaker (Mandarin is a plus)
