Project X (TBD)

Project X is an esports game that is skill-based, fast-paced, and played in short sessions. Built for mobile, this is a strategic auto-battler where teams auto-fight on dynamic battle arenas. Build your unique Champion roster by virtually exploring city blocks of the real world to obtain the ultimate team.

 

The Role

As a Video Editor (Contractor), you'll create engaging video content for a diverse and growing gaming community globally. Your filmmaking skills, editing experience, creativity, collaborativeness, audience affinity and passion for gaming will help create memorable media experiences that keeps the community talking even after they’ve stopped watching. This is a remote contract role with GMT+8 working hours and a fixed term.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with the Marketing and Community teams to identify and create video content (short-form video, live-action, GIFs, memes, cut-downs, etc.) that engages our community.

• Capture in-game footage plus video capture sessions and translate it into videos that the community will love on our various social media channels (Twitter, Discord, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram etc.)

• Provide creative input during team discussions and meetings that elevate inspiring and innovative content for the different audiences in the community.

 

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of video editing experience in games, film, vfx, tv, or animation.

• Passion for gaming and/or blockchain gaming is a huge bonus

• Skilled with post-production tools such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects to create cohesive stories (familiarity with audio editing software is a plus)

• Proven record of driving a project independently from start to finish

• Proficient English speaker (Mandarin is a plus)
